Francis House Hospice have contacted Britannia Anchor Removals on a number of occasions in the past for various furniture collections and office relocations. The hospice for terminally ill children has raised enough funds to build new offices for their staff to ensure they have comfort. For the last few months poor Peter Forster, the fundraising coordinator had his office in a kitchen!! So when it came to filling the offices, Britannia Anchor Removals submitted a quotation for £1100 plus vat, which was accepted by Francis House. The relocation went well and Managing Director Chris Smallwood asked his crate supplier PPS to supply the crates for free. They agreed and it was decided to half the price of the relocation even though the original bid had been accepted. Speaking of his donation, Chris commented “we have worked with Francis House for a number of years now and nothing touches the heart more than seeing terminally ill children cared for in such a special way. Francis House rely heavily on public donation and we wanted to play our part and it is always nice to give something back, we must also thank PPS crate hire for their generosity as well!” Chris, who is pictured right with his team Tony and Steve, were joined by Emma and Amy of Francis House.
The company will be launching a donation option on their quotations, so that people who choose to move with Britannia Anchor Removals can tick a box and donate £1 to Francis House. “it is a simple thing and we hope that our fantastic clients and potential clients will help us to raise lots of money for such a worthy cause.” To follow the launch go to twitter @anchorremovals or find us on facebook – anchorremovals
